Independent musician note: There are several sites online selling To The West. However, these sites take a large percentage of the cut. Buying from this site = your money going directly to the artist! "It's a wonderful CD Coty! You and the folks that you play with are a talent. Your voice is BEAUTIFUL, I like the songs, I like the playing and arrangements, I like the production ... it's simple and clean and everything is right there where it should be and the sound is real. It's like this unexpected joy in my life and I hope you take that as the compliment it's meant to be." ~ Craig Nuttycombe of Cafe Musique
"I have been listening to your CD sooooooo much!!!! I actually think about you multiple times a day, because I have your CD in my car, and have been listening to it nonstop. I keep thinking of putting a different CD in, but I just don't want to- it is so beautiful!!!" ~Kelly Sullivan "Coty--I can't believe this: ever since the day I drove home from camp I've been wanting to write you this note! I listened to your cd for the first time that day and have since played it numerous times. It's wonderful! I cried, laughed, sang, and just stopped and listened. You are such a talent. Many thanks." ~ Tom Daly |

About To The West
To the West, a mixture of traditional, contemporary, and original songs, is not only a collection of songs I love to sing, but also a reflection of my experience growing up in rural western Montana and my journey even farther west to Bellingham, Washington. During my time here in the Northwest, I have been fortunate to live in a very supportive community, and with that support I have grown significantly both personally and musically. Each of the songs and all the people who have contributed to this album represent that venture. ~ linear notes from To The West |
